Jack Angaran is a trial lawyer and shareholder with Georgeson Angaran Chtd., who joined the firm after serving as a Deputy District Attorney for Washoe County, Nevada. He graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara and received his law degree from Mercer University in Georgia. He served as an Airborne Ranger in the U.S. Army. Mr. Angaran serves as defense trial counsel for professionals, employers, businesses and insurance companies in a variety of legal disputes and civil jury trials, including business and commercial, professional liability, product liability, coverage, insurance bad faith, real estate and personal injury. He is admitted to practice in Nevada and California.
Mr. Angaran is a past president of the Association of Defense Counsel of Nevada and served two terms on the Board of Directors of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada. He is a Master of the American Inns of Court. Mr. Angaran is past president of the Reno Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates and served on the National ABOTA Board of Directors until 2012. He recently received a Lifetime Achievement Award as one of America's Top 100 Attorneys, Nevada.

Alice Herbolsheimer is a trial lawyer with GA with several years of complex civil litigation experience, who has tried more than ten civil jury trials to verdict as lead counsel. She received her under graduate education at the University of Nevada Reno, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1994. In 1997, she obtained her Juris Doctor from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, where she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and received a Moot Court Governing Board written competition award. She also clerked for the U.S. Attorney's Office during law school.
Ms. Herbolsheimer practices in all areas of civil litigation, including first and third party insurance defense, premises liability, personal injury, professional errors and omissions, complex civil and commercial litigation and common-interest associations. She is admitted to practice before all state and federal Courts in Nevada and California (inactive), as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
She has also been appointed by the Nevada Supreme Court to serve as an arbitrator for the Court Annexed Arbitration Program. Ms. Herbolsheimer is a member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Nevada and the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). She speaks fluent Cantonese.
Mary-Ann S. Ellis is a trial lawyer with GA who was admitted to the Nevada Bar in 2011. She completed her undergraduate education at the University of Nevada Reno with a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude , in Political Science and Spanish, 2008. Mrs. Ellis received her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, (top 12% of class) from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University in 2011. She was a Williard H. Pedrick Scholar (Dean's List) 2008-2011 and a Moot Court Finalist (Client Counseling). She received the Outstanding Editor Award, Arizona State Law Journal, 2011. She served as the Business and Technology Editor (2010-2011) for the Arizona State Law Journal and as a Staff Writer (2009-2010). Mrs. Ellis received the CALI Award- Real Estate and Business Valuation and was Founder/Director of the Business Legal Assistance Program for small businesses, voted the Outstanding New Pro Bono Group at the College of Law, 2011. She also studied abroad in Spain and backpacked through Northern Europe.   Mrs. Ellis is a member of the American Inns of Court, Bruce M. Thompson, Chapter whose team was awarded the Outstanding Program, 2016.  She is a member and President of the Association of Defense Counsel of Nevada.
Rebekah Riley is
a paralegal at Georgeson Angaran. She graduated with distinction from
The University of Nevada in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Political Science. After working as a lobbyist at the Nevada
Legislature she returned to Georgeson Angaran in 2011 to begin her
training as a paralegal. She pursued her paralegal degree from Truckee
Meadows Community College where she obtained an Associates of Applied
Science with distinction in May of 2014. Rebekah assists the firm in
all aspects of litigation. She is also talented as a cake decorator.
Elizabeth Garls is a contract paralegal who works exclusively with Georgeson Angaran Chtd. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Claremont McKenna College in 1989 with a double major in International Management and French. After working for 5 years as a Sales Representative for Johnson & Johnson, she attended the Denver Paralegal Institute in 1995 graduating with a perfect 4.0 GPA. Her internship was with the United States Attorney General Office. Elizabeth subsequently worked for several law firms in Denver, San Antonio and Reno before starting her own business in 2001 - Medical Records Plus. She performs chronological summarizations of medical records and bills as well as claim file summaries and documents analysis for the requesting attorney. Elizabeth has been working with Georgeson Angaran, Chtd. since 2001. In college, Elizabeth was an All-Conference basketball player and studied abroad in Paris.
